“Iconic DJ Andrew Weatherall returns for the latest edition of his 6 Mix residency. One of Britain’s best loved DJs, Andrew has just finished touring the UK with Primal Scream celebrating the twentieth anniversary of their seminal album Screamadelica. In his latest 6 Mix show, Andrew plays an eclectic selection of music, from folk to rockabilly, via dubby, leftfield beats as well as new work and remixes fresh from his Rotters Golf Club studio in East London. In the final 30 minutes of the show, Andrew throws opens the doors to his ‘Sunday night disco’ featuring a live 30 minute mix of upfront new dance music including the exclusive first play of the brand new Death In Vegas single ‘Enforced Peace.’.”

“This week Memory9 returns with a mix dedicated to the Chinese year of the metal rabbit, full of personal favourites new and old. The first half is a blend of juicy, bassy, glitchy beats, some of them live re-edits done with the Monome 256, while the second half looks back at the dear days when junglists ruled the Earth. The end winds down on an ambient vibe to ease you off the jungle motorway and get you back to regular business in all safety. It’s over to Daedelus for the second hour. We start with his ‘We All Have Magical Properties’ mix which weaves through musical delights from James Pants, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Animal Collective and Untold. This is followed by an interview with the man himself talking about his new album ‘Bespoke’, the LA electronic music scene and his own musical background, plus we hear a few tracks from ‘Bespoke’. An extended version of the interview is available in the latest Ninja Tune podcast.”

“As RA’s Richard Carnes pointed out at the beginning of last year, Alex Green and Damon Kirkham, AKA Instra:mental, have been responsible for some of the most exciting drum & bass of recent vintage. Teaming up with dBridge, they’re responsible for the Autonomic sound, an open-ended approach that has taken in a celebrated podcast, a revered mix for fabric and a club brand that is now getting booked around the world. Nowadays, though, they’re interested in creating just about anything but: electro, techno, dubstep and anything that defies description is what you’ll find on their new album, Resolution 653. As the world of electronic music seems more open to eclecticism than just about any time in memory, it’s clear that things are only going to get bigger for the duo.”
