FACT mix 222 by Urban Tribe (DJ Stingray)

“We don’t think it would be an exaggeration to call FACT mix 222 one of the finest the series have ever seen. Ingram has dubbed it his FACT Street Brawl Mix, and it’s easy to see why – this is an epic journey into the tougher side of the UT/Stingray sound, all funked-up, spring-loaded sci-fi electro and radgy, ‘floor-melting techno. Perhaps most significantly, he’s really captured the intensity of his club sets – this thing simply does not let up. We don’t normally like to zone in on specific moments in a mix, but seriously, keep your ears peeled for 23:20 and 29:25 and try not to punch the air when they hit.”

Resident Advisor podcast #246 by Caribou

Awesome mix from Caribou!!
“I made a lot of new music for this mix—the tracks credited as Daphni. It’s been over a year since I made any music at all so I was eager to get back to making some. The tracks on this mix are just sketches really—rough ideas that allowed for mixing the other tracks together in different ways. The tracks by other artists on this mix are there because I was excited about them when I was working on the mix—having just come home after being away for a long time there was a big pile of 12-inches that I’d bought but hadn’t listened to.”

6 Mix 2011-02-13 Andrew Weatherall returns to the 6 Mix decks

“Iconic DJ Andrew Weatherall returns for the latest edition of his 6 Mix residency. One of Britain’s best loved DJs, Andrew was thrust back into the public eye last November by Primal Scream, when they performed their Weatherall-produced magnum opus – Screamadelica – live for the first time in full. Since then Andrew has been the subject of an internet fan campaign to get him a weekly radio show and has confirmed he’ll be the Primals’ tour DJ when they take Screamadelica on the road over the UK this spring, celebrating its twentieth anniversary. In his latest 6 Mix show, Andrew plays an eclectic selection of music, from folk to rockabilly, via dub and minimal techno as well as new work and remixes fresh from his Rotters Golf Club studio in East London. In the final 30 minutes of the show, Andrew throws opens the doors to his ‘Sunday night disco’ featuring a live 30 minute mix of upfront new dance music from balearic beats to techno bangers.”
