“Sonic architects, Zero 7, bring a sun-kissed two hours of tunes to BBC Radio 6 Music.
The duo, consisting of Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker, formed the group in 1997 after working as studio engineers for artists such as Robert Plant and the Pet Shop Boys. They released their Mercury nominated debut album, Simple Things, in 2001 and have since released three further albums, working with the likes of Eska, Sia and Jose Gonzalez. This summer sees Henry and Sam return with some new material, the first track being their new single Simple Science.
To celebrate their return, the duo get behind the 6 Mix decks for two hours of tunes from their DJ travels.”
