Kensaye – Core News Sessions #10 – My Soulectro Love Affair

If you are interested in doing a Core News Session or know someone who might want some extra exposure please use the contact form to get in touch.

I’m happy to give you all wonderful Core News readers a new Core News Sessions!
This time we get a mix from a Parisian producer/radio-host/dj/percussionist called Kensaye. He got his own radio show on Ness Radio where he presents music that is in the same alley as Gilles Peterson and Lefto. I hope you all enjoy the session from Kensaye and please spread it around to all music lovers 🙂

Here is what Kensaye got to say about the mix:
“This is an exclusive mix I created for the Core News Sessions. My mixes are usually an eclectic mix of world music, Hip-Hop and soul, but for this one I decided to focus my attention on Electro music. That genre has a very wide reach, as we can honestly say that most music nowadays incorporates some sort of electronic element, but I think the link that keeps these tracks together is the soulful undertones. You’ll recognise a few names there, such as Aaliyah, Jamie XX and James Blake. But also you might discover new artists such as S-Type, Sam Gellaitry and Koloah. Welcome to a world of smooth electronic moods, pulsating drums and atmospheric vocals. Peace”
