“Co-founder of the infamous ‘Heavy Disco’ parties, Ashley Beedle, navigates you through the many strands of music that make up the ‘Heavy Disco’ sound.
For this month’s Heavy Disco Spectacular, Ashley revisited the incredible ‘The Disco Files 1973-78’ book by Vince Aletti which drills down into the DJ charts and records played during those years. These charts are his inspiration for this show. Thanks to Bill Brewster for publishing the book on his DJhistory.com imprint. The following selection of music is dedicated to all the DJs who went before to blaze a trail and the people who danced – this is the sound of the Bath House.”

“World of Echoes is a monthly four hour show from the French-born DJ, producer, remixer and and label owner François K. His career began at the Paradise Garage, Studio 54 and Loft in 70’s. He soon went on to become a significant studio hand for artists likes of Arthur Russell to Kraftwerk and a notable producer, working with and remixing artists from Diana Ross to Adam Ant. He has indisputably become one of the most influential artists in modern dance music.
For this month’s session François K is digging deep into selections of all sorts, including some perennial favourites as well as a few obscurities and some newly discovered tunes to set the mood for a sonic adventure into psychedelic sounds, a style which he has always favoured.”

“Emika celebrates the anniversaries of her two solo piano albums Klavirni (Jan 2015) and Klavirni Temna (Feb 2020) with a dreamy and fragile ambient mix of her selected piano works. Klavirni was recorded on a hand-held recorder from her parent’s residence in Milton Keynes, England while her dad was hospitalised. She improvised on her childhood piano while trying to find solace in between visiting hours. The track “Dilo 7” has been streamed more than 16M times on Spotify and held a firm position on their most famous playlist ‘Peaceful Piano’ for two consecutive years straight.”
