“World of Echoes is a monthly four hour show from the French-born DJ, producer, remixer and and label owner François K. His career began at the Paradise Garage, Studio 54 and Loft in 70’s. This month’s session is themed around François K’s long-running residency. ‘Deep Space’. Adding to the usual eclectic, abstract and dubby selections across the entire musical spectrum, the show also features a couple of exclusive ‘Live Stems Mix’ performances as well as much personal commentary on the current state of DJing and thoughts about how to remain inspired in today’s fast-paced world.”

In this month’s installment, François K pays tribute to Patrick Adams on the occasion of his passing after a long illness. He was one of dance music’s most legendary producers as well as a prolific songwriter and arranger. Since the early 1970s he was responsible for crafting hundreds of iconic and genre-defining hit records which went on to influence generations of music makers. This show features excerpts of some recent interviews with Patrick courtesy of BeXX IntheCity.”

This month’s session finds François frolicking around one of his mainstays which all has to do with the many shades of disco, whether new or old, obscure or well-known. He is also going to be sprinkling in a few of his ‘Live Stems Dub’ performances where he basically remixes some of his favourite tracks in the course of playing his set. In contrast to so much of today’s content which can feel increasingly homogenized, these become one-of-a-kind unique treats which will sound completely different every time he plays them.”
