“The guest resident is English producer Emperor Machine and Northern Irish producer Calibre delivers an ambient guest mix.
Emperor Machine is the moniker of Andy Meecham, who’s been a part of the electronic dance scene since the early days of acid house. His peers included Candyflip, Altern-8, Sure Is Pure and Nexus 21, and he was part of Bizarre Inc. and latterly ?Chicken Lips. He’s been recording as Emperor Machine since 2003 and recently released his latest album ‘Music Not Safari’.
Although Calibre is mainly know as a drum n bass producer, his albums have drawn across a broad spectrum of musical styles, which reflects the fact that he is a classically trained musician. His most recent album ‘Planet Hearth’ came out towards the end of last year. Here he showcases a side of his talents that shone in that album, with a special ambient mix.”
