Gilles Peterson Worldwide 2010-08-11 Hypnotic Brass Ensemble in session

“Gilles Peterson has 9 piece Chicago Brass Band, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble in session this week, and some conversation from them.
Find out about the influence of their father, Philip Cohran who worked with Sun Ra & taught the Pharoahs (who went on to be known as Earth Wind & Fire), and what inspired the eight brothers to go pro.
Also watch out for new tracks from dOP, Pedestrian, Submotion Orchestra and Radio Citizen!”

  1. So far I had a chance to listen to the first 30 mins but it’s just glorious. Marcos Valle, dOP and Submotion Orchestra.

Please also note that GP played Axel Bowman’s “Not So Much” [Pampa Records] after Marcos Valle.
