“Dave Treacy sits in for Danny Howard to present his first ever R1 show.
Dublin-based dance obsessive Dave is one of Radio 1’s Christmas Presenters for 2020 – a week of new presenting talent taking over the schedule.
He presents a weekend show on RTE 2FM in Ireland, as well as a weekly show on Select Radio in London.
Outside of presenting, he DJs on the festival circuit and coaches basketball. Back in 2009, he set himself the goal of becoming a regular radio presenter, using Pete Tong as his inspiration. Mission accomplished!
