Alison formed the electronic based duo Goldfrapp in 1999 with fellow musician Will Gregory.
Their 2000 debut album Felt Mountain went on to be nominated for the Mercury Prize. Goldfrapp’s second album Black Cherry became their major breakthrough as they moved away from their former trip-hop sound and ventured into the world’s of glam-rock and synthpop.
The duo released their sixth album Tales of Us in late 2013 on the legendary Mute record label.”
