Expect some radiophonic experiments from Delia Derbyshire, organ instrumentals from Mamman Sani, and brand-new Buchla experiments from Maria Teriaeva.
All these synthesized sounds are in honour of this week’s special guest – the electronic music pioneer Suzanne Ciani. One of the first people to work with the Buchla modular synthesiser in the early 1970s, Suzanne is known for her otherworldly soundscapes, New Age experiments and iconic TV adverts. For Dream Time, she shares some dreams and transports us to an alien world via one of her own compositions.”
