“BBC Radio 6 Music heads to Green Man Festival this weekend to host the Mountain Stage featuring a number of great live music acts including Beirut, Mercury Rev, The War on Drugs, Sharon Van Etten, Neutral Milk Hotel, First Aid Kit, Anna Calvi and Bill Callaghan to name but a few.
Tom Ravenscroft and Nemone from the network will be at the festival playing special DJ sets and Tom will be presenting his show live from the site in the Breacon Beacons.
Tom will have a live sessions from Domino’s new French outfit Francoise and the Atlas Mountains and Mariam the Believer as well as interviews with London based four piece Teleman, Canadian pioneer Caribou, and one of Tom’s new favourite bands The War On Drugs. Tom will also be stepping away from the main stages, to check out the weird and wonderful entertainment on offer in the peripheries at this truly beautiful independent Welsh Festival.
Tom will be bringing you Friday nights from festivals across the Summer including Latitude, Green Man and Bestival. Listeners will be able to experience all the excitement and build up as they gear up for their Friday nights with Tom bringing the vibes from around the festival sites, as well as his usual brand of dry wit and humour and some mind-blowing festival mixes.”
