He explains why it means so much to him and features three key tracks. This week he picks Sleeps with Angels, released by Neil Young and Crazy Horse in 1994.
Don says, “This is a beautiful record inspired, in part, by the death of Kurt Cobain – indeed the title track as written as a direct response to the suicide note in which Kurt quoted some of Young’s lyrics. This deeply affected Neil and, consequently, the making of this album. And yet it’s not melancholy – in fact it’s quite the opposite.”.”
