“Brodinski is another one of those French young guns. Only 24 years old but already a fast rising star in the current electro scene. His debut ‘Bad Runner’ on Mental Groove, that he made together with his good friend Yuksek, got played by Erol Alkan, Tiga and all the other usual suspects. That was enough to kick-start his career and in the meantime he’s a regular on labels such as Turbo, Southern Fried, Grizzly and Relief Reocrds, whilst doing remixes for people like Klaxons, Mixhell and DJ Mehdi. “Club music is a tricky thing. One minute a style is very hot, and then without notice it seems to morph to a different sound – leaving one trick ponies in the dust. French DJ, Brodinski, seems to have a knack for navigating these murky waters better than most. Brodinski seems to switch his style up with every release, constantly staying ahead of the curve. One minute it is punishing techno jams. The next it is hip hop inspired bass tunes. His career kicked off to a big start in 2007 with the blog release of the electro banger, Bad Runner, which seemed to be in every DJs crate for quite some time. Since then, Brodinski has gone on to release a handful of alternatively soulful and abrasive tunes on Tiga’s Turbo imprint, as well as on Grizzly Records.
