“This week’s adventurous episode features Norwegian doomy jazz rock, 60’s Glaswegian psychedelia, Australian experimental ambient music, tracks from Miles Davis, Bill Fay and Lotic and our feat album is the fabulous Kosmische Punk crossover debut album from German band La Düsseldorf. Consisting of Kraftwerk drummer and Neu! multi-instrumentalist Klaus Dinger and occasional Neu! collaborators Thomas Dinger and Hans Lampe, La Düsseldorf are regarded as one of the most influential bands of the 1970’s and 1980’s, praised by the likes of Brian Eno and David Bowie, with the latter calling their music, “the soundtrack of the eighties”.”
