“Mary Anne talks to Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard, about a series of children’s books he has written called ‘Frankie’s Magic Football’.
Frank’s footballing career started at his father’s team, West Ham United, in 1997. He went on to become the all-time leading goalscorer for Chelsea, and, since making his England debut in 1999, he’s represented his country at 2 World Cups and earned over 100 caps in the process.
Now, he plays as midfielder for Manchester City, but he has also turned his hand to writing children’s books, about a young boy’s adventures with a magic football.
Mary Anne finds out what inspired this new hobby, and how he juggles being an author, as well as a footballing legend, while spinning you just enough inspiring tunes to get you out of your duvet and moving.”
