Sharon Van Etten’s dreams of being a musician were realised by TV On The Radio’s Kyp Malone, after she handed him a CD of her songs back in 2005, and he instantly fell in love with her sound.
With her talent and his encouragement, she has since gone on to release four albums – the second of which won the title of 6Music’s third best album of the year when it dropped in 2012 – and is now touring the world with her newest collection of songs, breaking hearts, making friends, and spilling out her personal secrets.
