“Montreal’s Lunice Fermin Pierre II is a core member of the LuckyMe crew. He’s long been known for blending rap with cross-genre dance music, and his exaggerated movements behind the decks are as talked about as the sets themselves. But Lunice’s greatest achievement to date is his hook-up with Scottish producer Hudson Mohawke as TNGHT. The two made one of the trap movement’s defining tracks (“Higher Ground”), and they were eventually tapped by Kanye West to lend their distinct, horn-heavy sound to his album Yeezus, on its centrepiece “Blood On The Leaves.””
