Don says, “Can’t remember if it was listening to 6 Music or watching David Attenborough’s Planet Earth TV series that hipped me to this Icelandic outfit. Either way it was a revelation. Words such as atmospheric, emotive and ethereal spring to mind, but that really doesn’t do it, because I remember when I first heard this record thinking that this would be the perfect soundtrack to my last breath on earth – and that’s a compliment!”.”
