He explains why it means so much to him and features three key tracks. This week he selects R.E.M.’s Automatic for the People, released in 1992.
Don says, “This was supposed to be a more rocking affair than their previous album, but with themes revolving around loss, mourning and turning thirty, what we got was a ballad-driven masterpiece centred around Michael Stipe’s unique and emotive vocal delivery. It’s a truly great record.””
