“Tonight we’re celebrating a record label that’s been going strong for the past 40 years. Back in 1975 the Ace empire consisted of two market stalls and a few thousand pounds worth of second hand records. In The early 80’s Kent Records was formed to move the label into the 60s releases and soul music and has since become a byword for all things Northern and way beyond. DJ and legendry compiler Dean Rudland will be taking us through the labels history with a 30 minute Trunk.”
