For one night only, the 2024 Annie Nightingale Pioneers are taking over R1 and R1 Dance to showcase their individual sounds.
Annie Nightingale Pioneers is an initiative, continued in the late broadcaster’s memory, that aims to champion up-and-coming female and non-binary DJs and producers, who are making waves in the electronic scene.
Tash LC is one of this year’s brilliant recipients, alongside re:ni and Tatyana Jane.
With the backing of some of dance music’s most influential institutions and an effortless ability to command a dance floor, Tash has quickly become one of the UK’s most exciting and versatile talents. She’s a London-based creative with a passion for underground music from around the world.
So prepare to be drawn in with a balance of textured bass and highlife fusions, with meetings of kuduro, gqom, baile funk, and other eclectic club rhythms from the Afrodiaspora and global south.”
