Cool! When I checked two days ago, the schedule for the 29th was empty. I guess they only publish it a week in advance.
The announcement was that he’d do 32 shows, and I sort of thought that would be all remaining 2014 slots. But he started in March already, so it makes sense that there would be some breaks.
@Daniel – i think that Iggy slot (4pm – Sunday) is not permanent anyway. It is for various musicians to host it. Keep it occupied til Jarvis Cocker return in 2015.
According to the schedule at 6 Music he should be back on the 29th of June.
These recommend shows are quickly becoming favourites of mine… nice and short, little talk, and great new tracks that aren’t repeated every week.
By the way, has anybody heard anything about Iggy’s 6 Music shows? I thought they might do a 1- or 2-week break, but now it’s been 3 I think, and there’s again no show scheduled for next week. Did he quit, or get thrown off the air?
