  1. Thomas,
Thanks from all of for ALL your hard work over the last year. The breadth and depth of the music is always inspiring. I live in upstate NY, USA and I just know that even though the internet brings us wonders every day, I would not have heard a lot of interesting music otherwise.

My favourite this year was the MAH exit show. The Glasto Essential Mix was pretty good too. BTW, you might want to change the title of that one, Rusko was stuck at the airport and so they had Skream fill in. Pretty good set from him on such short notice too.

    Thanks again

  2. Gledelig Jul and thanks for everything – I thought I was a music nut but you take it 20 steps further! Favourite show would have to be Mistajam’s Dubstep special of mini mixes from Nero, Flux Pavilion etc but I’ve also loved a lot of your recommended shows as they’ve opened my ears to stuff I would not normally try. God jol og godt nyttÃ¥r and your blog makes me relish what 2011 will bring. Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrs! Mat, Australia

  3. Yes, I’d like to echo the above sentiments shown here, Thomas!

Best wishes of the season to you and yours, and for continuing to provide an invaluable resource to those of us, who love good music!

I feel blessed that I live here in England, UK, and have such a wide variety of shows and different genres available to me.

Some the shows I have followed for a long time, in Gilles Peterson case literally years and years.

His interview and show with Scuba back in April 26th, was a highlight of the year for me. (His album ‘Triangulation’ is one of my albums of 2010).

The Benji B show which crept in at No. 19 with God ‘Theo Parrish’, was another personal favourtie. And, the track ‘Wicky Wacky’ Jamie 3.26 Edit had me nodding like a dog for hours! LOL

I also really like the Jazzanova shows which you have posted. (Some great tunes in amongst those).

Will you be putting your own ‘All Winners’ of 2010 together, Thomas?

Again, we all really appreciate your hard work and dedication, and I look forward to more great shows here next year, 2011!

    We thank you. 🙂

  4. Thanks for all the comments!

I have been thinking about doing a recap for Core News itself. I’ll see if I get some time this week.

But I’m a bit uncertain what has been my fave sets of 2010. All the music has given me a bit of overload 😉
