“Carerra and Tavares met in the Spring of 2017 and without hesitation quickly established a musical partnership. Their first debut was in August and In four short months they have played multiple venues across the city of Toronto and have opened for the likes of artists such as Audiofly and Daniel Dubb. In December, the two took over One Loft Toronto’s cafe room with their signature party “With Love” (Techfui) beside headliner Swayzak. Most recently, the new duo have secured a monthly residency at Vertigo, and are exploring the world of production. Carerra & Tavares were brought together by their shared loved of deep melodic house as well as bouncy tech house. Their deep infectious tunes and strong positive energy bring a feel-good atmosphere to every dance floor.”
