Rob da Bank 2012-10-13 Rustie in session

“Rustie, the man behind the much hyped Glass Swords album and purveyor of chaotic and charming hypercolour music, popped down to the legendary Maida Vale to record his debut live session for Radio 1. He brought with him friends and collaborators Aluna (of AlunaGeorge fame) and Nightwave to recorded amazing versions of After Light, Glass Swords and Surph.
Rob’s also been back digging around in John Peel’s dusty archives to grab another momentous session, this time from grunge masters Nirvana. All of this, plus more strange and beautiful leftfield music from Radio 1’s resident ponytail: Rob da Bank!”
