“Danny kicks off series 3 of his Lockdown Linkups with a huge collab from Ejeca and Obskür.
Born at the beginning of the lockdown (2020), Series 1 of Lockdown Link-Up had the aim of bringing together dance music producers through a random draw, picked on air by Danny Howard. This made some unlikely pairings, including MK & Kolsch but brought about some incredible results and many tracks went on to be signed and released.
Series 2 saw another roster of huge names take part, from the likes of Hot Since 82, Rudimental, Nicole Moudaber and Dennis Ferrer. The majority of the tracks from season 2 have had record deals follow and have seen chart success on download services as well as heavy editorial support across streaming platforms.
Series 3 sees a slight change to the format, with Danny pairing up, friends of the show, big established producers as well as exciting new names.
Still to come in series 3 is collabs from the likes of Hannah Wants and Meg Ward, Purple Disco Machine and Alex Virgo, Shadow Child and Prospa, plus Danny announces one more collaboration on the show.
