Adam Green’s take on the Arabian Nights classic tale comes in the form of a film and live show, and features Adam as Aladdin, plus fellow stars Natasha Lyonne, Macaulay Culkin and Zoë Kravitz.
He joins us to discuss why he decided to use this story as the basis of his second feature film, and how the live show will unfold for those who take the magic carpet ride to one of the selected venues…

Talking about the set of the film to press, Adam said, “the goal was to make a sort of Wizard of Oz out of cardboard. We constructed 500 props and 30 rooms all out of phone books, newspapers, glue, and house-paint.
