But it’s become tradition here that before shipping off for the holidays, a handful of RA editors and contributors convene to discuss the last 12 months, using the poll results—top DJs, live sets, mixes and albums—as a jumping-off point for a wider discussion about what moved us this year. As usual, we found plenty to talk about, and could have gone on for a good deal longer than this Critics Roundtable’s already extended runtime.
