“Annie celebrates Coachella Festival 2022 – the world-famous music and arts festival held in California and the Colorado Desert – that’s back this year after a two year hiatus. She has handpicked bangers by some of her favourite artists playing this year such as Dave, Duke Dumont, SLANDER, Stromae and TOKiMONSTA, alongside sharing two guest mixes made exclusively for this show: a brand new Quest Mix from Tchami and Whipped Cream’s Ignition Mix first aired last October.
Tchami aka French producer Martin Bresso has been breaking new ground as a pioneer of future house. A founding member of the Pardon My French collective, he describes his music as being spiritual and often performs with the persona of a priest in church-like surroundings. He recently remixed Flume’s Say Nothing and made Tonight with Snakehips. Here he shares an exclusive, epic new 60 minute mix made for this show ahead of his Coachella performance, themed around the music he’s loving at the moment, and featuring the new Honey & Badger remix of his track with Habstrakt – Eternity – which he’s particularly excited about.
Plus, keep it locked for Whipped Cream’s big beat Ignition Mix. This mix was heralded as one of the best made for this show in 2021 and is just too good to never see the light of day again, so here we are, bringing it back from the archives in celebration of her Coachella appearance. Whipped Cream is professional ice skater turned DJ Caroline Cecil from Vancouver, Canada. She’s signed to Big Beat Records and will also appear at Tomorrowland and Lollapalooza later this year.”
