Couldn’t agree with you more Arthit. I’m grumpy in the morning (even on weekends) and the last thing I need are these forcedly upbeat presenters who think they’re the funniest guys in the world… but not someone grumpy/sleepy either, or you’ll never really greet the day. MAH with her calm and soothing voice, and her “sunny” features, is just right. Perfect selections too. She can make anyone a mornings person =D
What’s so great about hearing Mary Anne in the breakfast show is that she is bringing the new light to the male-dominated breakfast show. The slot usually fills up with comedy gags and two men shouting. MA’s approach is so unique. She is probably the only DJ who play Sabres Of Paradise in the morning.
