“We continue to grow our Funk Family Tree, which we started at the beginning of the year. This week we’ll link together Steely Dan, Pretty Purdie, Herbie Hancok and US3. At 8pm we’ll be having a 30 minute Tru Thoughts Records Trunk of Funk. The independent Brighton based label put out the finest funk and soul from the likes of Youngblood Brass Band, Quantic, Alice Russell, Harleighblu and The Hot 8 Brass Band.”
